Spread the love

I saw evil and felt blue

But forced to see no evil

So with time evil changed hue

From torrential abuse I became frail

But they said; speak no evil

So evil was allowed to prevail

I swallow abuse and die daily

But they said; hear no evil

So my obituary started gradually

Such is the life of many

But stories told by few

For we always cast the victim to shame

So I may choose to see no evil

But my conscience can’t be silent

To actions of the devil

And I may try to speak no evil

Even if it boils in my mouth

But I won’t lose my voice, should evil prevail

And if I ever choose not to hear

Of the many evils that is perpetrated

Where lies my hope?

For a better world I so desire
