The Ghana Journalists Association through a press release on September 2, 2020, has announced the inclusions of the ‘Gifty Affenyi Dadzie award for Best Female Journalist in Gender Responsive Reporting’ in the entries opened for the 25th GJA Media Awards.
This award category was sighted in the announcement of the opening of the 25th GJA Media Awards last month.
The winner of this award will undertake a MA-level semester course at the Arts and Culture, Newcastle University, sponsored by Aya Institute of women, Politics and Media. GJA members who have already file their entries and are interested in this category also, may amend their entries in accordance with the rules governing the awards
GJA Awards over decades has provided a platform to recognize individuals and companies that play significant role in the growth and development of the industry. The 25th GJA Awards is scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 24, 2020.
