Former Asante Kotoko skipper Godwin Ablordey has had a thing to say about the relationship between Hearts and Kotoko players during his time and now.
Godwin Ablordey in a show dubbed “Time with our captains” on GTV sports plus disclosed that the rivalry between the two clubs during his playing days was very intense, and it was had to even see the players of the two clubs exchange pleasantries on the field, unlike today.
“It was very rare to see Hearts and Kotoko players mingling on the pitch in the past. These days you see players from both sides holding or shaking hands before or after game no matter the outcome which is a good thing”.
