Ibrahim Issah Ampim paraded himself as victor when he garnered lots of votes from one of his strongholds.
A lot of his supporters were disappointed in the turn out of events.
He had threatened to take legal actions on the matter.
Hon. Aponkye came into limelight after he was granted an interview on GHOne and it gave him a very significant visibility which made Ghanaians keen to know whether or not he will win.
He captured the attention of many because of his outrageous campaign promises such as free breakfast each morning, free job for the youth with 20 cedis of daily pay just to mention few.
The winner, Hon Abdul Rashid ,o 1056 votes, followed by Hon Maxwell, who received 770 votes.
Hon. Iddrisu came third with 486 while Aponkye came last with his 234 votes.
