Project management and business consultant, Mohammed Abdul Hamid Babangida, has facilitated the ninth session of the 12 weeks Young Zongo Women Fellowship Program (YZWF) on Saturday 14th December, 2019.
Mr. Abdul Hamid Babangida spoke on the topic “Fundamentals of Project Management”.
Speaking on the topic, the facilitator stressed that “Project management is an essential knowledge area for businesses and social organizations.”
To him, “it is the driving force for ensuring the development of quality products and services and ensuring good results in business.”
The program’s approach of using women ” to steer the development space in Zongo communities is a very innovative one.
It is a very sustainable model and will definitely yield the needed impact.”
Young Zongo Women Fellowship is an initiative of the Initiative for Youth Development (IYD Ghana).
It opened application for women across various Zongo communities where 50 applicants were selected and taken through trainings on the subjects leadership, social entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship, project management,, public and community services, financial management, corporate governance, career development abd gender studies.
YZWF program began on 19th October and the final session came off on December 26 2019 at the Nima-Mamobi community library, Kanda.
