Former Black Stars skipper Stephen Appiah has passed his judgement on the Michael Essien and Thomas Party comparison.
Over the past few days, the debate on who’s a better midfielder between Michael Essien and Thomas Partey has taken over Twitter.
Opinions on the subject matter has fairly been distributed, with a plethora of people having the believe that Michael Essien is way better than Thomas Partey and it is even preposterous for anyone to make this comparison.
Well it was the turn of one of the greatest captain’s the national team has ever had, Stephen Appiah to pass his judgement.
“Partey is more technical, but Essien was stronger and took control.
“You can play them together because they are two different kinds, but you can’t play Essien and Gattuso together”, he concluded.
