The Management of the West African Examination Council (WAEC) has consented to direct the 2020 Ghana Exams for Senior secondary school competitors on August 4, 2020 and closes it on September 4, the Ghana Education Service has affirmed.
The Examination Council prior reported the suspension of the direct of the 2020 WASSCE for school competitors which has now been named Ghana Exams.
President Akufo-Addo in his tenth broadcast address to the populace on May 31 declared the reviving of schools for all last year understudies in the nation to empower them to finish their scholastic work and get ready for their expected assessment.
The President coordinated for Senior High School last year understudies to answer to class on June 22, after which they will compose their test a month and a half later, from August 3 to September 4, 2020.
The Minister for Education, Dr Mathew Opoku Prempeh tending to the press said the administration has counseled the Ghana WAEC office to set inquiries for the nation.
The Education Minister named the assessment “Ghana Exams” rather than West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
The lead of the 2020 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) is relied upon to begin on September 14 and finishes on September 18.
The Candidates are relied upon to continue for authentic learning on June 29, and take an eleven-week broad instructional exercise after which they will sit for their last assessment from September 14 to September 18, 2020.
